  1. Pull the inner lever on the left tailgate to open it.

  2. Pull the side lever on the right tailgate to open.

NOTE

If the rear combination lamps are obscured when the twin swing tailgate is open, the vehicle may be difficult to identify, increasing the risk of an accident.

Install a safety triangle and activate the hazard warning lights if necessary.

WARNING

Do not operate both the left and right tailgate simultaneously when opening or closing. Doing so may cause damage to the upper tailgate panels. Always fully open or close one tailgate before operating the other.
