WARNING
  • Please install Kia AddGear accessories according to the instructions provided on the Kia Shop (https://shop.kia.com/section/HOME). Make sure to take the precautions.

  • Using Kia AddGear accessories whilst driving may distract the driver and increase the risk of injuries in the event of a collision or sudden stop.

  • When using Kia AddGear, do not put a finger or a foreign object (pen, etc.) into or touch the V2L power outlet. You may get an electric shock, or it may cause a fire.

  • Do not attach sharp or fragile objects to the headlining when installing Kia AddGear accessories. In the event of an accident, airbag deployment may cause these objects to become projectiles, resulting in serious injury or death.

  • If the accessory is not a Kia genuine product, you must check its material and design specifications.

  • If the dimensions do not fit properly or if the material lacks sufficient strength, the item may detach or break, leading to unexpected injuries.

CAUTION
  • Be careful not to exceed the maximum load indicated on the cover. Exceeding the load limit may damage the components.

  • When using Kia AddGear accessories in the luggage area, ensure the load is evenly distributed within the maximum load limit.

  • The maximum load indicated on the cover applies only to the closely-mounted type. In the case of a cantilever type, the maximum load may be lower than that of the closely-mounted type.

  • When using Kia AddGear accessories on the rear part of the centre console, make sure to close the V2L power outlet cover.

  • After installing Kia AddGear accessories, regularly check the fastening status.

  • Before driving, make sure the storage fastening parts of the Kia AddGear accessories are secure so that stored items do not become dislodged during driving.

  • Always remove the Kia AddGear accessory when folding the 2nd row seatback. Failure to do so may result in damage to the accessory or other vehicle components.
