Plug the cable into the USB port, and charging will begin.

NOTE
  • The battery charging state may be monitored on the electronic device.

  • Disconnect the USB cable from the USB port after use.

  • Fast charging is available on the electronic device equipped with fast charging capabilities. The device without fast charging is charged at a regular speed.

  • Fast charging may not work when the electronic devices are off.

  • Charging some digital devices is not available or requires special dedicated adapters if their charging methods don't fit the way the USB car charger works.

  • Do not attempt to use the charging terminal either to turn on an audio or to play media with the infotainment system.

  • Charging speeds may vary depending on the state of charging status of electronic devices.

  • Battery chargers cannot be charged.

100 W USB charger

Depending on the device’s request or specification of the connected charging cable, the total output supported by the USB charger can be up to 100 W.

The 100 W USB charging socket is labeled with or .

  • Using the genuine charger specified for your vehicle can support up to 100 W. However, the 100 W USB charger supports 60 W with cables that meet the same specifications as PD 3.0-enabled products, and 27 W otherwise. Use only Kia Genuine Parts or those of an equivalent standard.

  • The colour of the light indicates the charging status.

    The colour of the light is designed for a driver's convenience. If a problem occurs repeatedly, have the function inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends that you visit an authorised Kia dealer/service partner.

CAUTION
  • This product is designed to be compatible with USB-IF USB 2.0, PD 3.0. There can be limitations when using other types of standards.

  • Connection to 100 W charging cable may differ depending on the shape device to connect.

  • The 100W charging cable is a consumable product. If charging/communication is difficult after the warranty period (a year), repurchase it.

  • Avoid entering foreign substances, beverages, and water into the 100 W charging cable plug. This may damage the 100 W charging cable.

  • Do not use any device whose the current consumption exceeds 5.0 A.

  • When charging with 'C to A type USB convertible adapter', use an exclusive charge for your device. If you use a product that is not equipped with over-current prevention or system for stabilization, then this may damage the charging terminal. Use only Kia Genuine Parts or those of an equivalent standard.

  • The use of inappropriate parts that may cause the malfunction of the USB terminal and infotainment system can be excluded from warranty coverage. Use only Kia Genuine Parts or those of an equivalent standard.
