Replacing front turn signal lamp (Bulb type) (Type A)

  1. Turn the steering wheel toward the opposite side of the bulb to be replaced so that the tire faces inward before turning off the vehicle.

    • When replacing the right (driver-side) bulb: turn the wheel to the left.

    • When replacing the left (passenger-side) bulb: turn the wheel to the right.

  2. Engage the parking brake and turn off the vehicle and lights.

  3. Remove the wheel guard fasteners on the side of the front turn signal lamp to be replaced, and detach the wheel guard.

  4. Access the front turn signal area through the available space using your hand.

    Turn the front turn signal socket counterclockwise to remove it.

  5. Turn the bulb socket (1) counterclockwise to remove it, replace the old bulb with a new bulb, and install it in the reverse order of removal.

  • If you find it difficult to follow the bulb replacement procedure, remove the front bumper and proceed with the bulb replacement.

  • If the required tools or the correct bulb specifications are not available, or if the replacement method is not fully understood, have your vehicle inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends to visit an authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
