Replacing back up lamp/rear turn signal lamp (Bulb type) (Passenger van)

  1. Apply the parking brake and turn off the vehicle.

  2. Turn off the lights.

  3. Open the tailgate.

  4. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the D pillar cover and service cover located inside the tailgate.

  5. Remove the retaining screw.

  6. Pull the lamp assembly rearward to detach it from the vehicle body.

  7. Disconnect the connector.

  8. Turn the socket of the rear turn signal lamp (1) or back up lamp (2) counterclockwise to remove it.

  9. Replace with a new bulb and reinstall in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION

Be careful not to dirty or damage the lens, lens tab, and plastic housings.
