Resetting the sunroof

Reset the sunroof when:

  • The battery is discharged or disconnected or the sunroof fuse has been replaced or disconnected.

  • The sunroof control switch is not operating correctly.

Reset the sunroof as described below.

The ENGINE START/STOP button must be in the ON position.

Close the sunroof completely.

Release the control switch.

Push the control switch forward until the sunroof tilts and slightly moves up. Then, release switch.

Press and hold the control switch forward until the sunroof is operated as follows:
  1. TILT DOWN → SLIDE OPEN → SLIDE CLOSE
NOTICE

Do not release the switch until the operation is completed.

If you release the switch during operation, try again from step More Details.

Release the sunroof control switch. (The sunroof system has been reset.)

NOTICE

If the sunroof is not reset when the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or related fuse is blown, the sunroof may operate improperly.
