Seating Easy Access (if equipped)
Seat easy access operation
You can activate/deactivate the easy access feature on the Infotainment system screen.

Driver's seat

Select Setup → Vehicle → Seat → Seating Easy Access → Driver Seat Easy Access

Passenger's seat
-
Select Setup → Vehicle → Seat → Seating Easy Access → Front Passenger Seat

Steering wheel
-
Select Setup → Vehicle → Seat → Seating Easy Access → Steering Easy Access

Operating condition(s)

The front seats move backward and the steering wheel moves upward when the vehicle is in the OFF position and the driver door is opened.

The front seats move forward and the steering wheel moves downward and the driver door is closed when you have the smart key with you.
You can activate or deactivate the Easy Access Function from Vehicle Settings from the infotainment system screen. For more details, refer to Navigation Quick Reference Guide.
Never attempt to operate the driver position memory system while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of control, and an accident causing death, serious injury, or property damage.

If the battery is disconnected, the memory settings will be erased.

If the Driver Position Memory System does not operate normally, we recommend that you have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
