To help achieve proper engine and powertrain performance and durability, use only correct lubricants. Correct lubricants also promote engine efficiency, which improves fuel economy. Use the following lubricants and fluids in your vehicle:

Use only specified genuine automatic transmission fluid. Using a non-specified transmission fluid (even if marked as compatible with genuine) could result in shift quality deterioration, vibration, and transmission failure. Refer to Explanation of scheduled maintenance items.
