In traffic, your vehicle will stop if the vehicle ahead of you stops. If the vehicle ahead starts moving, your vehicle will start moving, as well.
After you have stopped your vehicle and a certain period of time has passed, a warning message appears on the instrument cluster. Engage the accelerator pedal or push the ( 
) switch, ( 
) switch, or (
) switch to start driving.

When Highway Driving Assist (HDA) is active, the automatic departure time can be extended for a certain period.

If an interior camera is equipped, the automatic departure time may be further extended depending on whether the driver is looking forward.

Automatic departure may not occur if the driver is wearing sunglasses or if the driver’s gaze cannot be detected.
