This system can be activated, when the following all requirements are satisfied.

• The ignition switch is ON.

• The transmission is in the P (Park) position.

• The vehicle stops.

• The vehicle speed is under 2 mph (3 km/h).

• The driver's seat belt is unfastened.

• The door is opened.

• The front passenger's seat is not occupied.
