With the engine on, select 'Driver Assistance → Parking Safety → Rear Warning Only' from the Settings menu to turn on Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning and deselect to turn off the function.

When the engine is restarted, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning will automatically turn on. However, if 'Off' is selected after the engine is restarted, the driver should always be aware of the surroundings and drive safely.

With the engine on, select 'Driver Assistance → Warning Timing' to change the Settings for Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Warning. You can set the warning point to 'Normal' or 'Late'.

Normal: Use in a typical driving environment. Select 'Late' if the Warning Timing feels too sensitive.

If you change the Warning Timing, the warning time of other Driver Assistance systems may change.
Warning Volume

Off (If steering wheel vibration function is equipped)
With the vehicle on, select Driver assistance → Warning volume from the Settings menu to change the Warning Volume to High, Medium, Low or Off for Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Assist.
However, when Warning Volume is turned off, the steering wheel vibration function will turn on.
If you change the Warning Volume, the warning volume of other Driver Assistance systems may change.

The setting of the Warning Timing and Warning Volume applies to all functions of the Rear Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Even though Normal is selected for Warning Timing, if the vehicles from the blind spot area approaches at high speed, the initial warning activation time may seem late.

Select Late for Warning Timing when traffic is light and when driving speed is slow.

If the vehicle is restarted, Warning Timing and Warning Volume will maintain the last setting.

Depending on your region or update, the menu may be displayed as 'Warning volume', 'Warning Sound and Haptic' or 'Warning Methods'.
