The hybrid battery State of Charge (SOC) gauge indicates the remaining level of hy-brid battery power. If the gauge is near the Low (L) level, the vehicle automatically op-erates the engine to charge the hybrid battery.

If the Service Indicator ( ) and Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ( ) illuminate when the SOC gauge is near the Low (L) level, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
