Do not put any objects into the cooling duct of the hybrid battery. Doing so might cause loss of the cooling duct volume. If any objects block the cooling duct, immediately contact a Kia dealer.

Never place a container of liquid on or near the cooling duct. Spilled liquid might damage the hybrid battery.

Before driving, secure all luggage in the liftgate. When a sharp or heavy load strikes with a strong impact or pierces the liftgate’s interior wall, the hybrid battery system might be damaged, deteriorating its performance.

Do not obstruct the cooling duct with any other objects.
