Vehicles with smart key system

  1. Carry the smart key or leave it inside the vehicle under your supervision
  2. Make sure that the parking brake is firmly applied.
  3. Shift the gear to P (Park). You cannot start the vehicle if the gear is in N (Neutral).
  4. Engage the brake pedal.
  5. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. If the hybrid system starts, the READY indicator displays.

    The engine should start without engaging the accelerator whether the engine is cold or warm.
