Emergency Stop forewarning and Deceleration Control
If a Hands-Off warning continues or the driver’s forward attention is not maintained, the system interprets this as driver unresponsiveness.

Forewarning and Emergency Stop will be canceled in the following situations:

The driver looks forward and holds the steering wheel to operate the vehicle

Smart Cruise Control is temporarily deactivated or turned off

Lane Following Assist is turned off

During Emergency Stop operation, the Smart Cruise Control vehicle distance is set and displayed at level 4. Once Emergency Stop is canceled, it returns to the previously set value.

This includes the operation of Smart Cruise Control based on navigation and Highway Driving Assist.
