Lane Following Assist is designed to detect lane markings or vehicles on the road, and assists the driver's steering to help centre the vehicle in the lane.

It can only become active in combination with Smart Cruise Control and therefore assists the driver in his task to control the lateral and longitudinal movement of the vehicle. (for CUV)
