Be sure to turn off the power after turning the drive dial to parking (P).

Apply the parking brake on while the brake pedal is depressed.

Open the charging door by by pressing the Symbol [▶] of the charging door. The charging door will not open if the vehicle door is locked.

WARNING

If you cannot open the charging door due to freezing weather, tap lightly or remove any ice near the charging door. Do not try to forcibly open the charging door. The charging door may be broken if it is forcibly opened.
