Main fuse replacement

(Diesel) 2.7 VGT/ (Diesel) 3.0 VGT
(Diesel) 2.5 VGT

If the MAIN (100A) fuse (1) is blown, it must be removed as follows:

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the main fuse box cover.

  3. Remove the screws (2) shown in the picture above.

  4. Replace the fuse with a new one of the same rating.

  5. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION

Visually inspect the battery cap for secure closing. If the battery cap is not securely latched, the electrical system may be damaged to due influx of moisture into the system.

NOTICE

The main fuse box is located between front tire and rear tire on driver side.
